Meet Brand Ambassador, Andy Bradley from the UK. Andy started working with Elevate in 2016, after hearing that we were looking for VR specialists to represent us at a AR/VR conference. Keeping reading to learn about his Elevate journey and to find out what his advice is for someone considering a becoming Brand Ambassador.

What do you love most about being a Brand Ambassador?

I love the flexibility! Being able to control when and where I work gives me the freedom to pursue other passions. I also like being able to pick and choose jobs where I know my existing skills can be put to good use.

How did you first learn about Elevate?

I first learnt about Elevate in 2016 when I heard they were looking for VR specialists. I’m a huge lover of all things Tech and jumped at the chance of being able to do this as a job.

What’s been the most memorable moment you’ve had working with Elevate?

It has to be representing Elevate for the new Meta VR headset launch. I love tech and gadgets, and being able to travel the world doing this was such an amazing experience!

When you’re at work, how do you motivate yourself?

I only choose jobs I know that I’ll enjoy. Not only does this make it more interesting, but it will also make you better at what you do. If I’m working on a long shift that’s particularly quiet, I find taking a break and removing myself from the environment allows me to get back in the zone. Having to be “on” all of the time can take its toll, so it’s important to give yourself time to recharge.

What have been your biggest accomplishment at Elevate? / What have you gained from working at Elevate?

Having the opportunity to work on campaigns and with some of the biggest tech brands in the world. Working with Elevate has given me great insight into the tech world and has made me want to pursue more work within this field.

What is one thing about you that most people don’t know?

I produce comedy sketches on line and comedic travel vlogs! I try and fit this in around doing promo work. I love entertaining and making people laugh.

What advice do you have for prospective Elevate Brand Ambassadors?

Only commit to jobs that you have a genuine interest in and where you can apply your existing skills. There are a lot of people who have recently joined the industry who don’t fully understand how things work. Yes the jobs can be fun, but people need to understand that you also need to put in the work!
