What We Did

We were tasked with delivering the Pokémon Center at the International Championships held in London Excel. Our event staff managed the entire centre, supplying over 100 staff every live day. The team formulated the staffing plan and delivered all elements, including front and back of house, warehouse management, POS, till systems, digital footfall tracking, shop floor teams, remerchandising teams, and the training strategy for all staff on Pokémon. The event team structure was created to ensure appropriate management of all zones and support with inventory, stock management, and till system training.

How we did it

Our client anticipated a 250-person footfall every 15 minutes and managed footfall to comply with health and safety. Fourteen truckloads of stock were delivered before the store opened, involving multiple staff members to unpack and arrange the back of house area and shop floor, with Elevate designing the full warehouse layout. Throughout the event it was vital that we remained adaptable, creating new logistical routes to manage back of house, increasing staffing support for the final day, and bringing in additional warehousing needs for loadout. We also supplied all tech, including temporary shelving in the back of house, radio hire, tech hire, and till hire.​
