Boosting engagement at Essence Festival

38 staff members thrive in roles across the festival​.

What We Did

The Essence Festival is a vibrant celebration of African-American culture, featuring musicians, artists, speakers, and visionary entrepreneurs from the community. The event’s day sessions feature free empowerment seminars, drawing around 500,000 attendees annually. During this year’s Essence Festival, held from June 29 to July 2, Wasserman needed Brand Ambassadors to oversee their Disney activation booth.

How We Did It

Our staff took on diverse roles both at the booth and throughout the festival. In total, we provided 38 staff members who worked across the three days, fulfilling roles such as line queue management, Mickey Ear distribution, photo opportunity assistance, floaters, and support staff.
